Access to the university intranet and internet with OpenVPN

We provide secure access to the university network in the form of a so-called Virtual Private Network (VPN) in the following areas:

• within the campusWi-Fi via the SSID 'CampusUniPassau' or 'CampusUniPassau-5GHz'
• Via a VPN tunnel from outside the University network, giving users access to restricted resources within the University network.

In order to be able to use these access routes, you need the OpenVPN software. We provide the VPN software including extensive documentation for members of the university.
